These terms cover your use of Browser Emergency Assistance Desk (BEAD), accessible at https://b-e-a-d.com. By using BEADyou agree to them. If you don't agree, please stop using the site.

What BEAD is

BEAD is a free collection of small, focused utility tools. Most run entirely in your browser; a small number make outbound network requests on your behalf (currently: DNS Lookup). The full picture lives on the Privacy page.

Free and as-is

The site and every tool on it are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy of results, or that any specific tool will keep working tomorrow.

Use at your own risk

You're responsible for verifying anything important. Don't use these tools as the only check on a decision that matters — sanity-check critical output against another source. We're not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising out of your use of the site, including but not limited to lost data, lost revenue, or downstream impact of acting on tool output.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use BEAD to:

• Break any law that applies to you.
• Interfere with or attempt to compromise the site or its hosting infrastructure.
• Probe, scrape, or automate the site at a rate that affects other users.
• Use the DNS Lookup or any future server-side tool to harass, attack, or surveil anyone.

Your content

Anything you type into a client-side tool stays on your device — we don't see it. Anything you send via the contact form is held only as long as needed to reply to you, and is never sold or shared with anyone outside what's necessary to provide the response.

Third-party services

BEAD is hosted on Vercel and uses a few third-party services to function:

• Vercel — hosting and CDN.
• Vercel Web Analytics — anonymous, cookieless page-view counts.
• Cloudflare — DNS-over-HTTPS endpoint queried by the DNS Lookup tool; also serves the captcha on the contact form via Turnstile.
• Resend — used to deliver contact-form emails to us.
• Adsterra — display advertising. Ads may set their own cookies and read browser identifiers as described on the Privacy page.

Each has its own terms and privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be noted on this page with the updated date below. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
